On November 22,  Grace Coddington visited the MPS Graduate Fashion Photography program at SVA, and shared her thoughts and experience as the celebrated Creative Director of American Vogue since 1988. Her presentation ranged from her early years as a model working with the luminaries of British photography to her tenure at Vogue where she helped to define the contours of fashion photography for thirty years.  Filled with witty and charming anecdotes about her work partnerships with Steven Meisel, Bruce Weber, Arthur Elgort, Annie Leibovitz and Guy Bourdin, her presence at SVA was appreciated by the students whose work will establish fashion photography’s future.
