Class of 2016 Show Best Work at Milk Gallery

SVA MPS Fashion Photography Class of 2016 showed a selection of their best work, produced between 2015 and 2016 at Milk Gallery Thursday evening at the annual Graduate Fashion Photography Exhibition. 

This year's show, curated by Jimmy Moffat, featured work from Anna Harty, Caio Ferreira, Eduard Kopysov, Jessica Portillo, JuanKr, Lane Lang, Marvin Castro, Mikey Asanin, Nyki Elle, Nima Chaichi, Rina Gluckman, Wenjun Liang, Ziqian Wang and Xizi Wang.

Among the standouts from the Class of 2016, Ziqian Wang showed work from an editorial for Dazed Magazine's inaugural China issue.

The show is on view through January 29. A Panel discussion on Fashion Photography will be held at the gallery, Saturday, January 28, 2017.

MPS Fashion Photography, created by Stephen Frailey of SVA and Jimmy Moffat, co-founder of Art + Commerce and founder of Red Hook Labs, is the only graduate program in the US devoted entirely to fashion photography. The 1-year, intensive program offers practicing fashion photographers the opportunity to advance their bodies of work under the guidance of working professionals. Faculty include Alix Browne- W Magazine, Ivan Shaw- Vogue, Rory Satran- i-D Magazine and many other notable fashion media leaders and photography critics. Guest speakers include Grace Coddington, Tim Walker, Solve Sundsbo, Erik Madigan Heck, Nick Knight and many others.
